no to no-vember!
of all the months of the year, i hate november the most. there’s just no redeeming qualities to this period of the year. it is cold, grey and the sight of trees desperately holding on to their last leaves simply look pathetic. it’s too cold to do away with layer after layer of clothing, but it’s too warm to keep snow from melting, if snow does fall. all we’re left with then is cold, brown, dirty mush. that, or pelting rain that leaves marks on your windows and make cleaning your car and shoes a waste of time. and worst, the prospect that we’re gonna spend the next half year this way, give or take a few nice sunny days, make it even more bleak.
and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why i have a 1.5kg glass of nutella and a spoon in front of me. beats prozac anytime! (not that i’ve tried prozac, ha!)

The one redeeming quality of November in the U.S. is that it is Thanksgiving time! Next to Christmas, its one of the most important holiday here. Lots of food, a big turkey with all the trimmings, and a 4 day weekend to boot!

they do celebrate thanksgiving here (erntedankfest, like a small fiesta in suburbs), pinayh, but no holidays.
karen, what’s with peanut butter? miss ko na yung lily’s. pinoy style: may oil sa top, at malamang puno ng aflatoxin, hahaha!!!
no, justice, christmas belongs to december.
hi jey! where you from ba? here in germany, it’s wet, rainy AND cold.

Hi ya!!! For a healthy nutella experience (which is by the way easy to prepare) try nutella fruit parfait. simply slice assorted fruits (bite size). top it with mixed milk and nutella (add small amount of mascaporne if you have one). then sprinkle with chopped cookies. voila, a yummy fruit parfait in less than 10 min!

dark, gray and gloomy…the circle of life..parang….parang….parang naririnig ko na ang mga tiktilaok ng namamasko sa pinas — mg basurero, security guards, apti taga-deliver ng tubig, biglang bumabait, sabay abot ng envelope…sigh. miss ko na pinas hehe

dito naman we love nov bcoz it is the end of spring which means summer is just around the corner pero minsan lang naisip ko sana pag xmas eh malamig-lamig diba para apt yung song na ‘malamig ang simoy ng hangin’ eh dito super init tapos it’s such a waste to put up xmas lights kasi mga 10pm or 11pm pa magdidilim so antuk-antok ka na before darkness comes. o ha, naiba na ata itong koment ko sa topic mo! nyahahaha punta na lang kayo dito — mainit! nice!

and yup, sarap ng nutella!

but this year it has!!!
3 long weekends due to holidays in one month… ahehehe
November 10th, 2004 at
nope, delish, over here, even nov 1 is not a holiday!
svelte: aflatoxin is a poisonous by-product of molds that grow on peanuts pag hindi maganda ang post-harvest processing and storage. with the humid climate and sub-standard quality control sa pinas… well, you get the picture, hehe…
