Hi Ruth, thanks for visiting my blog :-)

You know, having a game plan for the next 5-10 years is good and well for new graduates, but if you have kids, throw this plan out the window. To quote a famous movie, kids like life "is like a box of chocolates, you don't know what you're going to get". You can make the best of plans, then your kids change it for you (a lot of times, it's for the better though). Better to just be flexible, and go with the flow.

hi ruthie. this might sound simplistic, but one way to know if you're on the right track is when everything falls into place relating to your plan. if on the way to your goal there is so much resistance, that's telling you something na. i keep this as a blueprint to my decision making and long-term planning.

hi ruthie. those 2 naman are my favourite Qs to answer. re my weaknesses, i always have like a disclaimer na i recognise they are my weaknesses but i am attempting to address these perceived weaknesses to become a better employee for the prospective company. next Q naman on plans, madalas kong sagot "to be in your position (whoever is interviewing me kung relevant yung position nya sa aking role/position)" and so far, effective naman sya :) But...that's just me of course and I can't say it's effective for everyone!

I have a good one. When they ask me q#1 I answer that I take things too personally when I make mistakes at work. I really do anyway. I brood over my mistakes and then think about it endlessly. I said it was still a work in progress. But it's good, right? Hehe, it makes one look like a perfectionist.

i guess it just means that's it's always great to have a visioan or goal... and a plan how to achieve those goals...

but it also means, one should learn to adjust, be flexible and patient...

to bloom and grow and thrive where one is planted... or unceremoniously dropped like a hot potato by fate... :)
