for €5 per day, you can rent these strandkörbe (strand=beach, korb=basket. huh?!) to protect yourself from the wind. see, although it may be sunny, strong winds can make it feel colder, ergo not comfortable for basking in the sun.

5 euros is not that bad for a whole day rental….pero di ba nila pwedeng samahan na rin ng folding bed pinoy style? ang sarap sigurong humilata at matulog habang hinahaplos ng simoy ng hanging dagat ang iyong mukha…..
hayyyyyyyy bad trip ako sa weather dito sa Giessen, parang tapos na ang summer eh!

Cute! I’ve never seen anything like those before. I don’t even think I’ve seen tents on the beach before. I’m not much of a beach bum, though. Having grown up mostly in Northern California, beaches there are just too chilly.
