desperately seeking blog title
hubby reads all my blogs, although one more often than the others.
“i haven’t read your taglish blog recently.”
which one?
“that pong-pang-bing-bang-bong one.”
okay. i don’t need a marketing expert to know that the title of this blog rates low in terms of product recall. imagine, to search his inbox, he uses “rong” to look for emails coming from me. *rolls eyes* so i’ve been doing a lot of thinking and have come up with one lame alternative:
a bug’s life. self-explanatory. more domestic, more familiar. more microbiological than entomological, unlike the current title, which to those who don’t understand filipino, translates to “field butterfly”.
if i don’t get a lightbulb-moment soon, i’ll probably just use that. whadyathink?

It’s so sweet that your hubby reads your blogs! Mine only does when I tell him to.
I actually like “field butterfly” better than A Bug’s Life which is already taken if you check out Google’s Blog Search. But Field Butterfly isn’t taken!

aw, the only alternative i can come up with and it’s taken! and as if to rub it in, the blog doesn’t even seem active! grrr….

It shouldn’t be a problem kahit taken na ang ‘A Bug’s Life’. It’s not like you’d be using it as a domain. Title lang naman. Wala naman silang exclusive rights to it, considering movie din sya.

AnP, I don’t mean taken as in somebody has rights to it. I meant it more as in it wouldn’t be unique….

May price ba pag gagamitin mo yung suggestion? Hehehe. Eh di, “A Bug’s Moment” na lang. Galing sa “lightbulb-moment” at “A Bug’s Life.” O, ‘di ba?

That is really funny! Field Butterflyl sounds good. i always resist change and like paruparong bukid a lot but for the sake of brevity and as you say recall, why not a change?

I like that title, “A Bug’s Moment”. I’m sure your hubby won’t have a hard time remembering that one. He just might have to look up e-mails from you under “bug”.

I like Paruparong Bukid because it’s got more charm!!!
