song of ruth was one of the songs played during our church wedding six years ago today.. it held a lot of meaning for me then, poised as i was in leaving the philippines and starting life anew among hubby’s “people”.
as fate would have it, its poignancy is as acute this year as it was then.

Hallo Liesl und Klaus. I have no idea who the original was, but it’s song commonly used in weddings and sang by a choir. During our wedding, we asked a choir to sing it for us. There have been many interpretations, here’s one:
