I had the nightmarish experience going there and back. I have 10 klo excess (KLM allows only 20) but was willing to pay for it , if only i was not asked to pay 30 per kilo of excess. I tried regulating my shopping in pinas due to this but when it was time to come back, i had 4 kilos excess and same price to pay. Well 120 euro is not much but well, buti pa sa pinas may padulas... this is the time when i find bribing someone very beneficial. and of course... i had to leave my tanduay back home. :-) you got through 34 kilos without paying the excess? if you did how much did you pay per kilo. My mom makes my sister and aunt bring "delikado" items such as guinamos (ilonggo fermented shrimp paste), daing na bangus. fresh mangoes (flesh removed from the seeds), and even all sorts of dried fish.
