south beach
the following is a paid review.
unlike many pinoys, i’ve never really felt that pull to live in the so-called land of milk and honey. however, at least once in my life, i’d like to see it, explore it, get to know the sights and scenes i’m familiar with through movies and television. florida will definitely be a must see. orlando for the kids, and perhaps south beach, miami for hubby and me. sunny, vibrant, metropolitan island-living — just my kind of place.
where to go, what to do? plenty! here’s a sampling:
for culture vultures - a narrated tour of the art deco historic district, holocauset museum and wolfsonian, miami art museum, historical museum of southern florida, the barnacle state historic site, coral gables merrick house
for shopaholics - at the lincoln road shopping district, aventura mall and bal harbour shops
for nature trippers - at the everglades national park and biscayne national park
for kids - miami metrozoo, parrot jungle and gardens, miami seaquarium, the monkey jungle, the miccosukee indian village and airboat rides, miami museum of science and space transit planetarium
and a whole lot more! so much more that it’s recommended to stay in south beach for several days; you won’t run out of things to do even if you stay a week or so. and if you’re looking for south beach miami hotels, consider staying at the marriott biscayne bay hotel, a luxury hotel right in the heart of downtown’s arts and entertainment district:
- This hotel is nonsmoking
- Waterfront luxury hotel on Biscayne Bay in Miami, located minutes from the Port of Miami
- 580 spacious guest rooms overlooking Biscayne Bay with high-speed Internet, fridge and cable TV
- Amenities include Bay View Grille, event space, beauty salon, fitness room, pool and room service

sa miami seaquarium pa lang kami nakakapunta, at sa south beach mismo. pero yung nanay, nakarating na sa tatlong lugar ng shopping-an na nabanggit mo.
ganda dito sa miami, marami talagang pwedeng gawin.
