one year
june 28th marks the end of our first year here in singapore. one year! and yet sometimes, it feels like we’ve just arrived. it’s a tiny island, and yet there’s still a lot we’ve yet to discover– places to see, things to do, foods to taste, cultures to understand, friendships to nurture.
i wouldn’t say it’s the greatest place on earth, and i know that for me, this is not THE final destination, but so far, it’s been swell being here. its a place that’s easy to get used to and
yet, every now and then, you discover new facets that makes it quite intriguing. for such a tiny island, i can’t say i’ve had enough of it yet.
as they say, i’m keeping my fork. the best is yet to come!

Hi Ruth, I’m really glad you’re keeping your fork. In more places than just in Singapore!
I wonder what your final destination will be? Do you feel a pull towards Philippines? Germany again? Anywhere in Europe? Your family seems to be true citizens of the world.

no tin, while we would love to move to the philippines sana, there’s just no opportunity there for us to earn a decent living. where next? no idea yet

same here, i’d like pinas to be our final destination too, wala lang opportunity to make a good living (esp in my hubby’s line of work). anyway, one year ka na pala sa sgp, ang bilis!
