best contraceptive ever
while many developed countries are struggling to boost their population, the philippines remain in a quagmire because its population hike has gotten completely out of control. no thanks to poverty, increasing illiteracy, religion and the majority of politicians who don’t dare promote more effective birth control strategies for fear of stoking the church’s ire and thus losing voters. i therefore highly applaud the authors of the reproductive health bill. has it moved forward, though?
maybe they should run campaigns showing local versions of these ads on television:
should be effective, eh?

i posted about the reproductive health bill sometime ago in my blog. i like it. if it is going to be implemented properly, it’s going to work at the barangay level. merong reproductive health worker ang barangay to educate the people and provide contraceptives, etc. in short to make sure that this new law is being followed.
i think hindi umuusad ito kasi as usual maraming grupong simbahang katoliko ang pumipigil. kaya eto nasa dark ages pa rin ang pinas pagdating sa population control. sabi ko nga sana magkaron ng 1-child policy dito or something. he he he.

HAHAHA! Yeah, maybe actively showing commercials like this would work. We are just way too many. It’s hard to look at high school students in provinces looking like small children. They just didn’t receive proper nutrition. Hey, maybe the churches should feed all the children in the Philippines, and on a daily basis.

agree ako kay Glo, habang kumokontra ang simbahang katoliko ay hindi maiuusad ang panukalang ito. ang hirap naman din kasi sa atin, kung sino pa ang walang maipakain sa mga anak ay siya pang malalakas ang loob na manganak ng manganak. hindi lang kinabukasan nila ang sinisira nila, dinadamay pa nila ang mga walang malay na bata.
